LCDA is a division of the Louisiana Counseling Association and we serve to enhance the professional development and networking opportunities for career counselors throughout the state. Members of LCDA include K-12, post-secondary, and private practice counseling professionals who use their skills to promote career awareness, education, and self-development over the life-span.
LCDA strives to enhance career counseling, to foster ethical practice, to encourage communication among career counselors, and to support cooperation with organizations related to career development.
At the June 2018 NCDA Conference, LCDA received Outstanding State Division Award for their efforts to enhance the professional development and networking opportunities for career counselors throughout the state of Louisiana. Congratulations LCDA!
